i just came back from watching HOSTEL. hmm it wasn't much of a horror film, more like physic. thriller. It wasn't all that bad, i mean the plot line is totally gay, but visually its pretty good. Gruesome as hell, lots of blood and limbs. Sometimes even a little too gory that it was actually kinda funny in a ridiculous kinda way, like the gushing of puss when some japanese girl gets her hanging eyeball cut off. I dunno. I personally give it a B-. I do recommend you watch it though. Oh yeah be prepared to get carded at the ticket window and maybe even the door to the theatre by a random security dude like we did. Cos the movie is pretty much soft-core porn with blood and torture.

...kinda like Erotic Nights of The Living Dead with the bonus Orgy of the Dead.
wow. its really great stuff like this that make me feel like an ignorant Mexican. I mean being Mexican is amazing. There is so much of our own culture that we dont even celebrate, not because we dont want to but because we just don't know. and that sucks.

Anyway these tons of pictures were taken in Old Town. We were walking by the cemetery when we spotted these chalk drawings on the ground. Because Old Town has changed so much some unmarked graves have been paved over to make way for streets and sidewalks. The only thing that remain are markers on the floor that read "grave site" so i guess people know that there is someone buried under there. Well yesterday being the first day of Dia de los Muertos these chalk artists draw skeletons and flowers to give the forgotten graves personalities and to honor them as well. i think they did this last year too. i think theyre beautiful. anyway enjoy.

Saw Waiting with Steph and Rubi tonight. It's a funny movie, i expected funnier though. I mean i really liked it and all, but having the cast it does i did expect a little more laugh out loud stuff. Especially with Dane Cook in it and all. The trailers make it seem like Dane has a bigger role than he actually does, but the handful of scenes he does have are pretty hilarious. Point is i guess, i enjoyed it so you should definitely go and watch it.

hahaha tell me why out of the blue two ex friends from 8th grade call me to say "whats up girl?" yeah i remember back in the day these two guys were little gangsters or at least wannabes. i didnt see them in high school cos i heard rumors that one got shot and the other went to juvi. well as it turns out paul didnt get shot and ernesto didnt go to juvi, instead he had a kid. ok. when i asked them where they got my number from they said "off the t-shirt you signed" hahaha wtf? the last day of 8th grade we all signed our PE shirts when we ran out of space in the year book. i guess i gave one of them my number on their shirt .you know how when you sign a yearbook you usually put your number followed by K.I.T knowing or at least hoping that they wont. i didnt know that they were actually going to call me 5 years later. but due to the fact that i've lived in my house since 5th grade my number hasn't changed. but anyway thats not the best part. we talked for like 5 minutes about ernesto's kid and then paul cuts in saying "so whats up? what do you look like now?" haha i just laughed and said "well my boyfriend thinks i'm cute" they made a quick excuse about having to go and they clicked. um so my question is were they going through their 8th grade PE shirts and calling all the girls numbers in hopes of hooking up? i think thats pretty weird and funny. supposedly they would call me tomorrow uh yeah lets see what happens or who calls now.

these are the sort of things that make me look forward to my reunion.
